Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Stratos Development Group, Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

01

Data Controller

This website is operated by Stratos Development Group, Inc. ("Stratos", "we", "us"), a company organized under the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Stratos is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Enquiries regarding this policy, and requests to exercise the rights described below, may be directed to [email protected].

02

Scope

This policy applies to stratosdevgroup.com and the forms hosted on it. It does not apply to information handled within a client engagement, which is governed by the agreement executed for that engagement, or to participation in the Stratos referral program, which is governed by the Partner Program Terms of Service.

03

Information We Collect

Stratos collects two categories of information through this website.

Information provided by the user. When the contact form is submitted, Stratos collects the fields completed:

  • Your name.
  • Work email address.
  • Phone number, if you provide one.
  • Company name and your role, if you provide them.
  • The message you write describing what you are trying to change, build, or improve.

Information collected automatically. Stratos’s hosting and network providers record standard server and security logs when a page is requested. These include the IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request. This information is used to operate the website, diagnose faults, and protect against abuse.

Analytics. Stratos uses Google Analytics to measure how this website is used. It records a randomly generated identifier for the browser, the pages requested, the approximate location derived from the IP address, the time of the visit, and interactions with the page such as scrolling, clicks on links to other websites, file downloads, and the starting and submitting of forms. It does not record what you type into a form field. Stratos does not use Google Analytics to identify visitors by name, and serves no advertising on this website.

Organization identification. Stratos uses the ZoomInfo Script, which provides a feature called WebSights. It compares the IP address of a visit against ZoomInfo’s database of businesses in order to identify the organization a visitor is likely to be browsing from, so that Stratos and its sales development agency can follow up with organizations showing interest in its services. It identifies organizations rather than named individuals. The cookies these services set are described in the Cookie Policy.

Referral information. Stratos operates a referral partner program. Where a visitor reaches this website through a link shared by a partner, that link carries an opaque reference to the click, which this website stores in a cookie for 90 days. The reference identifies the partner, not the visitor. Where such a visitor then submits the contact form, that reference is recorded together with the enquiry so that the partner can be credited. Visitors who do not arrive through a partner link are unaffected. The cookie is described in the Cookie Policy.

04

Use of Information and Legal Bases

Information submitted through the contact form is used to respond to the enquiry, to conduct the resulting correspondence, and to retain a record of it. Where the GDPR applies, the legal bases are Stratos’s legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry initiated by the user, and the taking of steps at the user’s request prior to entering into a contract.

Server and security logs are processed on the basis of Stratos’s legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.

Stratos does not sell personal information for money, does not serve advertising on this website, and does not use personal information collected here for targeted advertising. Information is disclosed to the providers identified under Service Providers below for the purposes described there. Stratos does not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

05

Service Providers

Stratos engages the following providers to operate this website. Each processes personal information only on Stratos’s instructions. Each is located in the United States, except PartnerStack, which is located in Canada.

  • Cloudflare, Inc. provides the network, DNS, and security layer for our domain. Cloudflare terminates the encrypted connection, so it processes the IP address and request metadata of every visit.
  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. provides application hosting and delivery for this website, and processes request and server logs. Vercel Inc. provides hosting for Stratos’s non-public staging environment on the same basis.
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) provides email delivery. When you submit the contact form, the contents of that form are transmitted through Resend to reach our inbox.
  • PartnerStack (PartnerStack Inc., Toronto, Canada) administers Stratos’s referral partner program. Where you reached this website through a partner’s referral link and then submit the contact form, your name and email address are disclosed to PartnerStack, together with the reference to that link, so that the referring partner can be credited. No other form content is sent, and nothing is sent to PartnerStack for visitors who did not arrive through a partner link.
  • Google LLC provides Google Analytics, which measures use of this website. Google receives the IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and a randomly generated browser identifier for each visit.
  • ZoomInfo Technologies LLC provides the ZoomInfo Script and its WebSights feature, together with its affiliate Clickagy. These services receive the IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested for each visit, and use them to identify the organization a visit is likely to originate from.
  • Alleyoop, Inc. provides outbound sales development services to Stratos and receives the organization-level results produced by WebSights so that it can follow up on Stratos’s behalf.

Certain pages load images from third-party media hosts. These requests are made by the user’s browser and disclose the user’s IP address and browser type to the host serving the image. Such requests do not set cookies on this website.

Typefaces used on this website are served from Stratos’s own servers. No font requests are made to Google or any other third party.

06

International Data Transfers

Stratos is located in the United States, as is each provider listed above other than PartnerStack, which is located in Canada. Information submitted from outside those countries will be transferred to and processed in them. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, Stratos relies on the European Commission and UK Standard Contractual Clauses, as incorporated into its providers’ data processing terms, as the transfer mechanism for transfers to the United States, and on the adequacy decisions in favour of Canada for transfers to PartnerStack.

07

Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions and the correspondence that follows: up to 24 months from our last exchange, unless the enquiry becomes a client engagement, in which case the records are retained under that engagement.
  • Server and security logs: typically 30 days, in line with our providers’ standard retention.
  • Anything we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons: for the period that law requires.

On expiry of a retention period, the information is deleted or de-identified.

08

Your Rights

Depending on the user’s jurisdiction, some or all of the following rights may apply to personal information held by Stratos:

  • Access. Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correction. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion. Ask us to erase your information, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.
  • Portability. Receive the information you gave us in a portable format.
  • Objection and restriction. Object to, or ask us to pause, processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right exists and we will confirm that position on request.
  • Non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of California hold these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Residents of the EEA and the United Kingdom hold them under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Other jurisdictions provide comparable rights. Stratos applies this section to all requests, irrespective of the requester’s jurisdiction.

09

Exercising Your Rights

Requests may be submitted by email to [email protected], specifying the right the user wishes to exercise. Stratos will acknowledge receipt within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 30 days, or notify the user of an extension where permitted by applicable law.

Stratos may verify the identity of the requester before acting, ordinarily by confirming control of the email address held in its records. An authorized agent may submit a request on a user’s behalf with written authorization.

Users in the EEA or the United Kingdom have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10

Cookies

This website sets strictly necessary cookies, a referral attribution cookie for visitors who arrive through a partner’s referral link, analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, and a visitor identification cookie set by the ZoomInfo Script. Stratos serves no advertising on this website. Full detail, including each cookie’s name and duration and how to refuse or remove them, is set out in the Cookie Policy.

11

Security

The website is served over encrypted connections. Access to contact form submissions is restricted to Stratos personnel who require it in order to respond. Stratos engages providers that maintain recognized security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure. Users should not submit sensitive personal information, credentials, or confidential material through the contact form. Where a matter requires a higher standard of confidentiality, Stratos will arrange an appropriate channel on request.

12

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to individuals under 18. Stratos does not knowingly collect information from children. Any person who believes a child has provided information to Stratos may contact Stratos, and the information will be deleted.

13

Changes to This Policy

Stratos may amend this policy as its practices or applicable law change. The date shown at the top of this page indicates the current version. Where an amendment materially affects the handling of information already provided, Stratos will take reasonable steps to notify affected users directly.
